Can you imagine the idea of a BLACK MAN actually trying to tell these WHITE Senators how to do their jobs?
OK, maybe it’s not so difficult for you, but it seems outrageous to Cons, Faux News, and the GOP. While GOP appeals of “start from scratch,” and going, “step by step,” with the HCR bill were ignored, what really seems to inflame many of the RWL (Right Wing Lunatics) is the fact that Barack Hussein Obama thinks he has a right to speak as if he’s equal, or gosh-darnit, even superior to these white Republican Senators.
Of all the hats President Obama tried on at Thursday’s seven-and-a-half-hour health care summit, it appeared the one he was most comfortable wearing was that of the prickly professor.
How dare the President of the United States, commonly referred to as the Most Powerful Man in the World, talk to these people, correct their factual errors, or call for less campaigning and more substance. How dare he!
The Party of No isn’t named so simply because of their obstructions in the House and in the Senate. They’ve earned that title because if it were up to the GOP there would be NO social services of any kind, NO civil rights, NO labor laws, NO minimum wage, NO regulation of private enterprises, NO freedom without money to back it up, NO law without money to back it up, NO rights without money to back it up, NO America unless it was renamed America, Inc.
Here’s what the GOP really thinks of Obama:
And who could forget the music to play at all your Klan rallies:
No, Mr. President the Republicans aren’t interested in bipartisanship. They’re not interested in making America a better place for ALL Americans. What they’re interested in is taking America back to the 19th century; back to when minorities ‘knew their place’, women stayed in the kitchen, the middle and lower class had absolutely no say in government, and if you were White and Rich than you were above the law.

Ghosts of the KKK/Faux news team.
Insert freaky ghost noises, cue the rattling shutters the 2010 Census is taking place and it’s time to be frightened. Frightened, I say. Oh noes, thay be cowntin us!
Look, it’s a necessary thing. It helps tell us how many people are in what areas so that the proper amount of schools, elected officials, etc. can be given to that area. It takes all of 10 sec. to fill out and it’s completely harmless. That is unless you’re one of the paranoid fuck-heads on the Right or at Faux News. Liz Peek, dumbass extraordinaire, the author of “Confessions of a TARP Wife” (pluck heart strings now) seems to think the end of the world is taking place because of the Census. Her words:
the Obama administration is pushing the Census Bureau to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to reach minority communities that have been “undercounted” in the past. Reporting higher numbers of residents in poor black or Hispanic neighborhoods will attract more federal (needed) funding, and more importantly, will boost the regions’ House seats, which will likely be filled by Democrats. It’s a cozy arrangement.
Catch that? It’s not that the Obama administration is doing something dark and sneaky, its that they want everyone to be counted that’s supposed to be scary. Oh noes, all dem poore peoples wil be cownted! That’s right, she seems to be worrying that the Obama administration wants to be more accurate when it comes to poor neighborhoods so that they are given their fair share of federal funding and elected officials; as she notes those elected officials, “will likely be… Democrats.” Hmm, the scary part is that more Democrats will be elected by these minority neighborhoods? Am I missing something here, or is Peek literally saying that she doesn’t want the lower and middle classes to have a vote? I
“God forbid someone catches me out in something new. Keeping up with fashion seems somehow decadent in this new era, like getting Botox injections or catered dinners.”
God forbid, indeed. Yes, you rich bitch, you should be ashamed at your and your husband’s business operations and the upper class rape of Americans. Though you’ve blamed your husband and others for messing up the economy, you’re lying to think that you weren’t fully aware and partially to blame for the mess.
When are the RWs and Republicans going to wake up to the bullshit scare tactics of the rich and wealthy of the nation? When are they going to see that living standards for middle America have dropped significantly while these punks have accumulated more and more wealth. Do you think they EARNED this money?
In their new book “Game Change,” authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann say that in 2008 Reid described candidate Obama as a ” ‘light-skinned’ African American ‘with no Negro dialect unless he wanted to have one,’ ” whom many voters would embrace.
Reid’s insensitive remarks aside, many Right Wing Wackos (RWWs) began spouting comparisons to Reid’s remarks and Trent Lott’s remarks made in 2002 that he wished Strom Thurmond had been elected POTUS. ‘Those comments ended up getting Lott removed as majority leader, so why shouldn’t Reid be removed’ cries the little sheep. Remember Strom Thurmond? The bigoted racist segregationist that said,
All the laws of Washington and all the bayonets of the Army cannot force the Negro into our homes, our schools, our churches.
Well, take a moment to glance at those two quotes from Reid and Thurmond and ask yourself if they’re even close to being similar. Faux News loves to incite the dumb masses of GOP/Tea Bag/RWWs so, of course, they push the “double standard” myth commonly pushed by RWWs about Liberals. Another case of the pot calling the kettle “black”. Their response isn’t a surprise nor are their audience’s responses a surprise. I just wanted to share a few beauties I cherry-picked out of the readers’ comments when Faux asks whether there’s a “Double Standard”. Let the frightened illiterate hysteria begin. For your amusement:

susanfuchs

If you wish to see how much of a “double standard” there is, re-listen to the president’s words… “harry reid has been on the “right” side of history, …. so apparently, if you are a democrat, you’re okay to say anything, but if you are a republican,,,, you can’t. That, is repulsive, you wonder why people are angry and getting more so?
The logic is truly astounding. ‘Don’t you see, since they said A apparently it means X.’ Uh oh, another one of those “angry” warnings. Don’t ask what susan is fuching.

I’m not surprise by the comment that Mr. Reid made comments like that has gone on since slavery and will continue to go on until the end of time it isn’t a party line it’s ignorance and as long as we have ignorant people in this world we will continue to have rasicm. So lay off the political issue and just deal with the real issue.WE LIVE IN A RACIST INVORIMENT.

I was a loyal Democate until I saw the light & converted. The Democates do not represent anyone but themselves and don’t care who realized it. Double Standards in everyway. We all must fight extremely hard in the next elections to get rid of all of them.

I hope all Republicans will ban together and take control of both the House and Senate so the American people will be considered in any bill and do away with all these buying of votes.

Aaaaah, stop screaming at me! I think I missed the part where RWWs, “TURNED ENOUGH CHEEKS FOR THE DEMS.”

I am so very tired of Democrats practicing double standards regardless if it has to do with racism or any other issue. The senate needs to be divided evenly as well as the house and I’m so afraid this will never happen. Obama is in bed with the worst, has done many favors like for BEN NELSON recently and he on his own is scary.
Wide-eyed and doe-like, lucillelouise gave her mind entirely to Faux News and Baby Jesus.

In another attempt to scratch out whatever they can against President Obama, even if that means making things up, the GOP has turned to a yet another problem that has already been solved and taken care of. Not only has the President spoken directly to Crowley and Gates about the arrest in Cambridge, MA, but they have both agreed to come to the White House this week to talk things over.
When President Obama said last week that the whole incident involving Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Sgt. James Crowley of the Cambridge police department could be worked out over a beer at the White House, he wasn’t speaking figuratively. CNN is reporting today that the White House has confirmed that the president is to meet with the two men this week to do just that.
Apparently, the GOP has other plans,
At a time of economic distress, two wars, and a health care reform effort stalled by political friction, Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, (R-Mich.) is set to introduce a bill calling on Barack Obama to formally apologize to the Cambridge Police.
Yes, while the country is in need of vast changes, Rep. McCotter will be wasting time trying to pass this resolution. And for what? What could this possible do? Is Crowley supporting this action? Is anybody supporting this action? As for Thaddeus, he gives his reasons within the writing of the resolution:
Whereas, as a former Constitutional Law Professor, President Obama well understands that all Americans are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and their actions should not be prejudged prior to being fully and fairly judged by an appropriate and objective authority after due process;
Whereas, President Obama’s nationally televised remarks may likely detrimentally influence the full and fair judgment by an appropriate and objective authority after due process regarding this local police response incident and, thereby, impair Sergeant Crowley’s legal and professional standing in relation to said incident
One thing that is nice to see is a Republican actually acknowledging President Obama’s career experience instead of trying to say that he’s never had a job. But, in what way could “President Obama’s nationally televised remarks… likely detrimentally influence the full and fair judgement by an appropriate and objective authority after due process regarding this local police response,” when there is no action being taken by either Gates, the city of Cambridge, or the state of Massachusetts? There isn’t any “judgement” necessary. The issue is closed.

We enjoy laughing at right-wingers, and have no qualms lambasting them either. We hope you enjoy the Left Agenda. Please comment, debate, argue, insult, and laugh as much as you like. We will.
